Will we see a MacOS version, one day?

I looked through the steam discussions, and their facebook page, and this has been asked many, many times, but from what I can see anywhere it hasn't been answered so... We're completely in the dark here.
IMO just something like "it's comming, but we can't give an ETA at the moment" would be highly appreciated by everyone wondering this, keeping people in the dark is NEVER a good thing, it's more often than not a really bad sign that the devs don't communicate and then stuff just goes on forever, no mac version for example.
Seen this happen multiple times with games, devs and many, many interested customers wanting just a simple answer. And then the game updates stop, the devs twitter dies, yeah, you get the point I hope.
Still holding my hope up for any sign of a mac version, even a "mac version will exist in the future" is enough till full release, then they can communicate their further plans for it.
