I've got a little problem with the mouse cursor snapping to the right hand-side of the screen. I'm not able to pull the first lever in the game. When I'm trying to move cursor over lever it is snapping to the right side of monitor. The same is happening when trying to move cursor over the mirror. Did anybody come across this problem?
Its a bug to do with dosbox.
The solution is to not move the mouse at all, or click any mouse button during intro. You can move the mouse during main menu and gameplay as normal.
Please enter DosBox.conf and change to autolock=false
After that you should be able to move mouse.
You don't want to know how often I've tried to debug this problem.
Stonekeep sets some very unusual mouse control variables during the intro, but when comparing it with another mouse driver our response seems to be correct.
This should probably be added to the support page for the game? I had the same problem and it was really annoying, heh.

That works, unless you have two monitors :P
Didn't changing the SDL output setting to "output=overlay" work, though?

so i just got the mouse problem, (i played it all weekend, no problem too) and i went into the dosbox.conf file opened with notepad (the VOGONS newbie guide said i could) and so i went in there, and i can't save the file after i made the change. it says "cannot create C:\...\dosbox.conf file. Make sure that the path and file name are correct."
and the path is correct, and i just opened the config file, so the name should be correct to... i just changed that one autolock from true to false.
any ideas?
No idea about the "cannot create" error.
But the only thing that has worked for me regarding the mouse issue is the following:
1. Making sure in dosbox.conf that Stonekeep starts in Windowed mode.
2. Not touching the mouse until I've loaded the saved game.
3. Going into Fullscreen once the game is loaded.
and/or wait for the next version of DOSBox as It will work there without problems
Something similar is happening to me right now, each time i open the scroll or grab an item, its like my cursor is shortcuting right at the Mirror every time my cursor is trying to point anywhere near the right hand-side of the screen... it's seems to be a fonction in the game, but i don't know how i've activeted it nor how to turn it down now... and its really pissing me off since i've reach the shadow palace and my other saves files, which btw are not affected by this, are really far behind... this is soooo frustrating!!!

And in the manuel, they talk about "setting an item to be active" by pressing the middle mouse button, but i'm not sure if this is related nor how to undo it...
