I've always went to DF first but asking because I thought I remembered about needing to go to one before the other to avoid a bug I think it was or something else but it's been so long. Of course if it doesn't matter that's great but for some reason I just felt like I read on a forum a cpl decades ago when I was stuck that it mentioned something not to do around this point, thanks.

Nvm It's been a cpl days and I just explored the area and decided to go into DF, had a backup save so hopefully it's fine.

And your instinct was right. DF first then FR.

Next time, take the Dwarves to the Faerie Realm. One of them has a melt down.
