Im just wondering if everyone else has the black bars on the top/bottom of the screen while playing?

I dont recall them being there in the original release and none of my other Dosbox related games have this.

It's because you have it set to a good resolution. Set it to 640 x 480 if you want degraded video quality, but full screen.
