KamaBlackbird: At one point towards the end of Still Life 2, I'm unable to click on the printer to progress. Even reloading an earlier save and making sure I didn't click ahead of time solved nothing. Does anyone have a save file for the English version that could fix this?

YES! Thank you, that did it.
I'll put up the solution here in short for future generations: to avoid the game-breaking glitch, perform a ballistics test on the bullet stuck near the entrance door AND the one next to the corpse in the stairs in the basement BEFORE interacting with the computer in the next room. That will unlock a dialogue option if you call Hawker and allow you to move past the glitch.
