I just started Still Life, and I initially had some trouble getting the game save functionality to work. I seem to have resolved the issue, so I figured I would post here in case the information could be of use to anyone.

I'm running Windows 7 64-bit. Initially, when I attempted to save my game, this would work on the first try, but subsequent saves would not take effect and the first save would no longer display in the Load/Save screens. I navigated to the Still Life folder, then set the Compatibility mode for Game.exe to Windows NT 4.0 , disabling visual themes and desktop composition, and running as administer. I then opened Game.exe directly, and the problem appears to be resolved. Hopefully this will be of help to another fan of Good Old Games.
