Hello all,
I was watching a let's play of this game and I noticed a striking similarity with the old game Master of Orion 3.
There are so many things that are so similar.

It appears to me that someone loved the idea of Master of Orion 3 and said that they want to do it right.

It looks like it has been done correctly.

The biggest difference I see it that there is no turn button, you can only pause and let the time pass.

But districts, populations, space combat, etc. are all very similar.

What do you all think?
There are even space amoeba. :-)

there is a pause but you can also speed up or slow down how fast the game runs [in single player]... at least until your Cpu gives up crunching all the numbers by mid game and slows to a crawl ;)

Masters of Orion has a good ship design system and runs better on older systems with less than amazing Cpu but it has less scope when it comes to making your [main + slave] race and no where near as many random events as Stellaris

overall yes, if you like Masters then you will prob also like Stellaris
