2.2.X is very much a different game from 2.1.X, on par with a classic vs a definitive edition, therefore I believe 2.1.4.4 (last version of 2.1.X) and it's DLC's should be kept available to download.

Mostly I'm requesting this since I bought the Apocalypse expansion when MegaCorp was released, and so unfortunately only have access to the 2.2 version of the Apocalypse DLC, and not the older 2.1.4.4 version.

I think the file I'm after in particular is:
setup_stellaris_apocalypse_2.1.4.4_(24034).exe

But it would be better to keep these all available to future users so that they have the option of choosing a different Stellaris gaming experience if so desired.

Thanks!

Is this not already the case? I recently downgraded my game to the Version before Le Guin and all the DLCs I had installed worked just fine. I have since gone back to the most recent version and again, no issue.

yes and no... gog galaxy stores the last 5 versions by default but the issue here is that Paradox patch their games more than most devs and these 5 versions get used up

of course he can just download an older version from the Paradox store with his gog key but I assume he wants them on galaxy so the answer is no because that is just pointless extra work
I'm after some of the DLC offline installers for the game; in particular I'm missing 4 of them, so I've contacted support to see if I can get them that way.

@ussnorway
While I did use galaxy earlier on to roll back to 2.1.4.4 as you said they no longer have it. In any case what happens on Galaxy isn't too important as long as I can source those GOG DLC installers I'm missing.

That is interesting that you can get the older version of the game through the Paradox store using my GOG key...but I really don't want to have to sign up for another account just to get the installers, when GOG previously provided them; but a good last resort option I'll keep in mind, so thanks for the info.

EDIT: GOG support provided a link to their FTP server so that I could download the 2.1.4.4 DLC I was missing.

Or if you want to input all your GOG codes for Stellaris & DLC into Paradox's Game Launcher you can roll all the way back to 1.7.2 if you are so inclined

EDIT ah - you already knew... oh well
