Let's say 2/3 of my party is paralyzed (or all of them), so I don't have three cards to play out, thus can't click "finish turn".

What then?

You can just end your turn at any time. It doesn't need to prompt you. I just tried a similar scenario by ensuring that all my cards' requirements aren't met, and pressed the "end turn" button to end my turn immediately. This isn't necessary, though: even if you have cards to play, you can still end your turn at any time. It will just prompt you if you're sure you want to end with cards to play.

It's the square/X button on a controller, and tab on keyboard.

Sorry I didn't mention it. I always play with a controller, and it tells you the button to press in that case. I guess it never says "Press tab" if you're using a mouse. You can see that in the config/control settings, though.
