I was very much looking forward to this, but slightly nervous about whether it would work on Linux.

For those in a similar situation, I want to say that it seems to work out of the box (on Ubuntu 20.04 with proprietary AMD drivers and wine-stable). I had one glitch right at the start, where I couldn't click on buttons after the dialog, but it worked after restarting the game. (I also switched from fullscreen to borderless window mode, not sure if that helped).

I might update my post once I've played more of it. At a first glance, it looks like it'll work fine.

Great news. I havent tested it yet on Linux but we have worked on the Deck build that uses Proton so we ironed out most of the isssues there. Native Linux is coming.

Wow, that's really great!

Since you're checking the forums here: Thank you for making the Stasis series (and for making it available DRM-free)! The games are great and you're the sort of developer I think really deserves some support.

This game was one of only 2 or 3 buy-on-release-day games for me this year. I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun.

Does the GOG version work natively on SteamDeck? Will I have the same experience as downloading from Steam? Want to support the developers on GOG but I want to make sure the experience will be the same. Thanks!

hey there, I can't be sure - the Steam deck does have a bunch of templates that we configure through steam - so I think you could probably get it to work but it may need some working. out.

Came here specifically to ask this. Great to hear Linux is planned. Can't wait!

Really grateful for how smooth this game plays on Linux - Desktop and Steam Deck.
