Hi there,

1. The GOG version fully supports mods, but you'll have to manually download them from the Steam workshop.

2. Small hotfixes (fixing smaller bugs and issues) will only be shipped to Steam. GOG users will instead receive a bigger update on a monthly basis. Major updates (like a new beta) will be shipped simultaneously.

3. Yes it is planned for the final version.
