I have retrieved all three Black Eggs in Starflight 1 and I used one to destroy the Uhlek Brain World.

The problem is that I have lost the other two eggs. They are not in my inventory and not listed in the SpaceDock inventory either. Is it possible that I lost them when I lost my Terrain Vehicle (ran out of gas)?

Is there any way to beat the game without having a black egg?
Is there a way to find the black eggs I lost?

If they were both on your terrain vehicle and you ran out of gas then that might be where they are. If you remember where you ran out of gas, they should be there in the vehicle wreckage.

I can verify that this is the case. If you run out of gas, the crew leaves everything behind, and hopefully makes it back alive to the ship. After getting a new rover at Starport, return to those coordinates to recover your lost gear. If you remember what system and planet that was! 8)

I certainly hope you make your way back to that terrain vehicle before some kids stumble upon it, or at least instructed your crews to lock the doors before abandoning it as part of SOP.
