Today I had an 376MB update. Anybody found a changelog? I didn't find anything here in the forums, on the official site or in the wiki.

What is this update about?

The game didn't receive an update since 2024 according to GOGDB

Maybe a file was corrupted on your end and GOG Galaxy decided to download the whole game again. I had this happen in the past with a different game.

I manually checked update and it does have one.
However, I didn't record the build version before update. The update bring me to build 24354.
Interestingly, the offline install is build 24357.

Maybe you can start the game and check the build version?

I don't have the game installed at the moment but if there was an update GOGDB would sure detect it. Maybe it had something to do with Galaxy and not the game itself such as dependencies? I even checked the other store and the last update there was also in 2024 (version 1.6.15)

This update is weird. In the download tab, it's timestamp was displayed as "August 5, 2025". The Version is unchanged (1.6.15) but the build updated, I believe (24354). But it's nowhere to be found on the web as well as the fact that while it could be linked to GOG, it appears no other game is affected. maybe it is a network update? The official update history also points to march 2024 which is wrong anyway, since the december 2024 update is definitely up, so I wouldn't trust the GOG update history and changelog that's attached to the game. The build in the game is also different as to what the changelog in the game page says. When you mouseovver on the changelog button, it says 24355.8684 build, so again that's different from what the game displays as its version when you start it up.

TL;DR: GOG often has wrong changelogs displayed, but the update often is the latest.

There's not been an update since December of last year. What likely happened is that GOG adjusted something in the installers and didn't just silently flag it.

Frankly, this is part of why we don't like Galaxy, because it has the worst features of Windows (non-consensual updates) with none of the slight advantages.
Just remember I installed on another computer with offline installer.
The file is setup_stardew_valley_1.6.15.24357.8705766150_(78674).exe, which is the current host version.

From the title screen and click help, it shows the build is 24356.
So the Galaxy version is slightly older than the offline version if updated.
