I want to use the mod "Always On Server" which allows for a dedicated server style server but I'm having trouble getting two instances of the game to run.
I have 2 installations of SDV. One with mods and one without. I run the modded one with "Always On Server" and start a new farm. Then I run the non-modded one and try to connect via Invite Code, but it always fails. I also tried running the modded one in a different machine but it still fails. However, I am able to connect via LAN but I don't want that. Other players can connect to my modded server though, only I can't connect.
Is it because I have the same account logged in to both machines? Am I not able to play 2 different instances in the same account?
We just want to play on the same farm even if not everyone is present and the game isn't making that very easy.
