I have been around with starbound since like 2014.. and i was wondering wen there will be a playble version..
I tried playing it nd release.. wasnt finished..
I have the flu now so i thought lets download starbound... i dont even know anymore wen it was released..
and have been playing for hour.. making a realy cool begin house on the starter planet
have been beaming up now and than and now my beam down location is suddenly at the other side of the planet..
GREAT! :O
guess i will play it again.. somewhere at the end of this year..
I suspect that you beamed down to the planet, explored it, build somewhere a house and beamed up. The thing is, no mater where you've previously beamed up from, you always beam down to the same starting location.

Luckily you can use a flag to teleport to directly from your ship. http://starbounder.org/Apex_Flag

Your beam down location on a planet is fixed. If you beam down on point A, go to point B, and beam up, your beam down point will still be A

If you want to beam down to another point of the planet (like your house), you must place a flag, and interact with it. It will create a marker that will appear in the list when you activate your ship's teleporter.
The flag will also allow you tou come back to that planet even after you left for another system, so it's something you want to do for every planet where you build something.
