Hello, I'm having trouble recording Starbound using OBS Studio, as stated in the title. When I set up my scene, capturing Starbound, it slows the game down to an unbearable frame rate. I've tried running Starbound as an administrator, but it still does the same thing. Anybody out there a bit more tech savy?

Unfortunatly, recording games rairly is as easy as it looks. It takes it's fair bit of power from your computer. I think that you need a capturing device in order to get the best frames per second in the video and the game.

Does anyone know if that's true, or if there is a easy solution I'm missing?

Thanks for the reply. But I'm able to record a lot of games without too much trouble.. depends on how optimised the game is. It's true that I don't have the best PC, and I tend to record older games. But anyway, Starbound actually messed up my PC a bit. In an attempt to get better fps, I went into my amd catalyst control center to tweak some settings. After I did that the game crashed, and now on starting up my PC catalyst control center crashes every time...

I'm sorry to hear that.
I tried recording on Linux and it went fine on the game, but the fames dropped on the video significantly.
