They just released the new patch probably on steam. Announcement is on starbound site. Can't wait until it is released on here.
The patch was live on steam at least 4 hours after the notice was put up on the website. I would like to know why it is taking so long to trickle out to GOG, especially for friends who only own it through GoG and didn't get it through GoG connect.
It has always been like this, and you lot will have to wait like everyone else.
Because for whatever reason Chuckle Fish's devs don't seem to either have access to or choose not to use Galaxy's SDK. Otherwise they should be able to upload to Galaxy and we could be have the update at the same time as Steam. Perhaps GOG just hasn't given them access yet?

Update will hopefully be up on Monday though...
well, it's not even a question of galaxy. 1.2 is not on gog at all.

Good job when their video says available now with gog among other location when it's still not there 2 days later.
this is starting to piss me off.
We need the update. Nobody can connect to our already rented multiplayer-server anymore...!

The server got the update to v1.2 on the 15th, now it's the 3 days later, the 18th, and v1.2 is still not on GoG! Nobody can connect and play while the rental time is ticking away...!

Same issue here, we can't run our server because the clients are all newer now (most player are on steam). I know this likely isn't GOG's fault but they need to put the pressure on Chucklefish to get the updated game installer.

That's what I'm saying, if they use the new patching system they could have released it on Galaxy at the same time as Steam themselves. At-least then people would have the option of getting it quickly or waiting for the standalone installer.

Using the old way, means waiting for GOG to test it, package it and release it manually to Galaxy and the site. They have probably had the update since Friday but because of the above and because of the weekend, we are just now getting it..

Regardless, it available now.
I love starbound, but I'm ready to kick it to the curb. The invasive, horrible main quest and the fact that the gog version doesn't get updates at the same time as Steam is infuriating.

Isn't the update here as of a few days ago?
