Has anyone had any luck running XWA on Windows 10 with the latest Anniversary update? Upon launching, I receive a "he object exported specified was not found. Error code 0x80070076." Seems to be some kind of Windows COM issue.

Just wondering if it's just me, or if Win10 Anniversary broke XWA.

I am running the new Windows update and I haven't been getting this issue with XWA.
Make sure DirectPlay is enabled.

Thanks to teleguy, that did it for me. I had the same problem as moranms and had to createt a dual-boot-system (Win7/10) just to get X-Wing Alliance and X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter running. Now it works for Win 10 again :D
How is this going in 2019?
I can't get it to run at all, after every recommended troubleshooting. DirectPlay doesn't even seem to exist anymore.

I just bought it recently and XWA is running fine for me. I have Windows 10 Home, updated. I hope you were able to resolve your issue.
