Hey,
Just tried to play XWA with xbox one joypad and the ship/rudder keeps spinning. Can't seem to stop it :(
I'm on Windows 10 if that's important.
Anyone with the same problem?

Only on the orizontal axis?
Normally I'd say that 's a calibration problem, but with an X-box one gamepad it's downright bizarre.

Does it spin only when you don't touch the stick but otherwise it responds to your commands or it's always "locked"?

It acts weird, actually. After a few PC restarts it stopped and then started again. My guess is that the drivers are just incompatible with the old game.
And you're right: it's bizarre even when it's working.
I wonder if a Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas X will do? Or something better at that price/quality range?

The game uses directimput (the subsection of DirectX for game controllers) so there shouldn't be such problems, have you noticed if there is some force feedback option active in the game?
It's also possible that the analog stick might not be perfectly centered and the game not having a deadzone or an option to create one doesn't cope well with it.

The HOTAS X should do fine I guess, I saw AngryJoe playing the win version of Tie Fighter with it in a live streaming, so it shouldn't have issues with XWA.

Personally I never had a joystick that gave me problems with these games through win98, XP and 7, at best I only had to remap some buttons in the game options because I didn't like the default bindings.
