This client currently supports XvT and XWA.
I am currently in a room, looking for more players and going to see how good it works.

Join me.
Is your handle the same there? Mine is Veloxi. Add me, I'm likely gonna ramp up weekly bouts and stream them to Twitch!
It is. I am currently hosting a XvT Game waiting for people.
My nickname on GameRanger is Fek'Leyr Targ. I hope it's ok for you that I added you there.

Cool stuff. I have gameranger too! My acc name is TaShadan.
I would love to play multiplayer. I want to finish the campaign first however. The games don't come with multiplayer support out of the box, do they?

XvT surely does, that's its whole purpose, really.
Maybe we should setup somehting like a regular playing session, I would really love to try XvT and XWA in multiplayer. :) Maybe we can find someone to provide a Teamspeak or Mumble server for proper communication.
Has anyone had any success at hosting/joining yet? Via LAN or GameRanger?

Played a game of XvT with one of my Friends yesterday via Gameranger (both GoG-Version)
Worked perfectly ;)

PS: I also saw JonathanRL's game so i assume his worked too.

OK, that's good. I did some simple 10-20 minute testing trying to get my home LAN to work, but sadly didn't have much more time to dedicate to it. I never got it to work under tcp/ip and I'm not sure but isn't IPX totally dead post XP? Or is there a way to make IPX work in modern OSes?

Use Gameranger. There is not need to set up IPX.
I have also installed GameRanger. In which timezones are you guys? I'm GMT +1 or +2 (Western Europe).
I'm in GMT+1
Are there any alternatives to GameRanger? The game supports 8v8 multiplayer, but you can only host up to 8 players with GameRanger.
