I re-installed XWA on Windows 10 from my old CDs (having to create a new installation iso incorporating the X-Wing_Alliance_MSI_v1.exe).

Everything works well, but this time I couldn't do the 'fongfong' thing to unlock all missions/medals (Couldn't find file 'FongFongO.plt' in the Program Files/LucasArts/X-Wing Alliance directory after creating player FongFong and starting the game).

When I did the same installation on Windows 8.1 two years ago, the FongFong thing worked like a charm. What is wrong now?

Try installing the game in a directory other than Program Files.The plt file probably got redirected to the virtualstore.
