Fierhorn: So I bought Tie Fighter because I was supper excited to play the 1998 version of the game with the updated Graphics,voice overs and the extra expansion and to be able to use my Xbox controller.

Well I get into it and the mouse is super slow and unresponsive pretty much unplayable. Second problem is the xbox 360 controller dont work at all in none combat and in combat its useless because all the buttons are binded to bs things instead of the basis stuff like fire my weapons.

On the other hand the (94) version the mouse works perfectly and the xbox controller at least can fire.

If I am doing something wrong please help because there seems to be no way to put in a ticket for this game. If not any advice for getting a refund would be great.

vajrayogi: I'm having the same issues with X-Wing 98 and Tie 98, mouse barely works...drags across screen in slow mo and can't even get "in-game"...

Fierhorn: Ok I at least found a fix for the mouse problem I am still screwed with 360 support for the (98) version so any help would be great on that front.

So right click on program run for Tie

Select Compatibility and change setting to the same as my screen shot.

vajrayogi: Crikey - those settings didn't fix my mouse issue. You were running in Win 7 compatibility there, correct?

Fierhorn: I wonder if it has anything to do with we both have 64 bit.....I have a Razor mouse and it works fine with everything else.
