I'm not sure if the small image of stars used behind the yellow text crawl (and during space flying levels) is technically a skybox or just a single image asset, but I'm wondering if anyone else is getting a tiny section of stars (about a quarter of the screen) off to the upper left during those scenes.

Is this an existing, older issue? Or maybe something we can fix (especially if it's just a single image)?

What is the resolution you are playing?

Eh, I'm playing around with it now, and I'm realizing that it's basically hardcoded to be 640x480 and that there are no assets in the game folder that resemble the stars.

So I've set the game to run at 640x480, and everything looks exactly the way it should (including the miniature HUD elements and the overlapping, tiny text and face icons). I was playing it at 1280x1024, but it's off in anything other than 640x480 too...

I actually kind of like playing it at the low res... feels right. Anyway, it's clear the stars are generated in the code, and not pulled from anywhere else, so I don't see a viable way to fix this issue.
