Have an issue where Rebellion runs normally and stable except for combat. Combat itself works fine and is stable except all of the art assets are a "hot, flashing, pink and white." I have attached a couple screenshots. The fixes I've tried so far:

1.) Verified integrity of game files.
2.) Downloaded another copy of REBEXE called [win]REBEXE (it was listed as a solution for another issue on these forums) renamed it and replaced my old copy of REBEXE. While the game remained stable, it didn't fix the problem.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I'm having the same issue. Any clues? Is it the last Windows 10 update?

For those of you running into issues with messed up colors of the ships during the 3D battle scenes on a modern windows 10 computer, this is the fix I used.

Install Rebellion from GOG

download and install dgvoodoo2
just google, won't let me post link

Go to the MS folder under the dgvoodoo2 folder and copy all 3 dll files and place them in your rebellion directory.

Run Rebellion shortcut.

If you have any more issues try right clicking on your rebellion shortcut and select the proper video card to run it (for laptops with 2 videocards only)

Thank you, Thank you and Thank you! I would just add that you need to take the dll files from the extracted x86 folder.
Just wanted to say thanks for this, copied all the files out of MS\x86 into my GOG Rebellion install and it played just about spot on. Super stoked, with the GOG installer and this, no more messing around trying a dozen things to patch my CD install or keeping a Win7 install just for this.
