A few years ago there was a Mac version of this game released. Is there any chance to get it here?

What they would have to do is negotiate with Aspyr (and possibly also with Disney/LA) to get the rights for the official Mac port to be sold on GOG.

In the meantime, you can install and play the Windows version of KOTOR right now on your Mac using Wineskin. I've posted instructions on using Wineskin here on GOG. You can also look to the official Wineskin documentation for instructions.

Right now, I'm running KOTOR on OS X 10.10 under Wineskin, using WINE 1.7.29 and 1.7.28. The game runs perfectly, except that you have to disable cutscenes (not a huge deal), and the uniws patch doesn't work for my specific Mac (it needs a resolution of 1440 x 900 or greater).

They have the Mac version on Steam.
Last time I checked, it worked fine and the cinematics were in a higher resolution, because the original Mac physical version of the game was released directly on DVD, when the PC version came on CDs.

Let's hope they will be able to add the Mac version here.
