I did a search for "lighting", "shadow", and "bright", and nothing was found, so I figured I might as well ask. In KotOR2, I get a weird issue where certain objects viewed at certain angles or distances seems to completely turn off any sort of lighting or shadows on the object. The object flickers pretty badly when this is going on, too.

I'm running the game with the Widescreen mod and TSLRCM, although a vanilla install seems to have the same issue. This problem did not occur in KotOR 1 either.

Frame Buffer Effects, Soft Shadows, and Grass are all turned off.
Everything else is on max.

i7 4770k
HD7950 with latest drivers
8GB RAM
Windows 10 64bit Pro

Almost all of the first area of the game, as well several objects in Telos have this issue.

Could just be an AMD issue since the KotOR games have always had problems with ATI/AMD cards, but I figured I'd ask and see if anyone had this issue before.

EDIT: Also tried compatibility mods, single core fix, and the atioglxx.dll fix. The first two don't really do anything different for the game that I can tell, and the last causes the game to not run at all.

This may be an obvious idea, but have you tried deactivating the shadows?
Yep. Turned all the settings on and off, as well.

I don't think it's directly related to shadows. I think it's something to do with how certain objects are rendered. A few of the windows on Telos in the entertainment district would become invisible if viewed at certain angles for example.

EDIT: FIgured I'd add that I beat the game yesterday, and the issue only occurred in Telos and the mining place. Everywhere else was fine with the exception of some things that had a see-through overlay (i.e. leaf texture was see-through at the edges, but I couldn't see anything in the transparent part; body parts would go missing, etc.), but I think that's an issue with AMD cards and the games because that problem happens when grass is on, too, for similar reasons IIRC.
