I want to finish that quest for freeing the dancer Ramana from the gambler, but 2000 credits (or even 1500 with the successful persuade check) is a lot. And I find the idea of playing that boring Pazaak game with him to win her freedom even less interesting.
What should I do? I sortof just want to get past this boring side quest, but complete it.. without spending too many credits.
This game needs fun side-activities like the dueling arena on Taris with the Hutts, not this boring Pazaak game.
Otherwise seems surprisingly fun.
In the quest, the gambler who owns the dancer now says I can't kill him because he put an implant in the dancer's head that will kill her if I do that. I'd appreciate a "dark side" conversation option here to attack him anyway even if she dies... :) Sounds more appealing to me than the Pazaak game...
And speaking of which... it seems like the game isn't giving me many options for using "Force Persuade" powers like KOTOR1 did... which I consider a game flaw tbh.
EDIT: and I just want to add.. the "persuade" check on this guy who owns Ramana now is RIDICULOUS. I have decently high Charisma (14, for a +2 modifier), and a maxed out persuade skill (as a class skill too)... and I still repeatedly fail this persuade check to get the price down to 1500 credits instead of 2000.
