Hey guys,

There is a well known Scrolling bug that can occur when you start up the game,essentially the game's view veers off into the corner.I've only encountered it once so far but my solution was to restart my laptop.

I have the same problem, but everytime I start the game. I'mm try to restart now, let's see if that helps.

Still having this issue, was anyone able to resolve it?

Not sure if I've found a fix, but the first time I played, I didn't enable the firewall and it worked fine. The second time I played and did enable firewall access and had this issue. Uninstalled the game, deleted all registry entries, and the firewall access, rebooted and now it works fine without firewall access enabled.

Turned the firewall rules off and hey presto, not stupid scrolling

So, do two instances of no scrolling with firewall access for the game turned off mean confirmed? Hopefully GOG sees this and finds a fix.

A futher little update...I have found that even with the firewall rule disabled, sometime (like 1 in 5) the problem returns. A reboot seems to fix this. I did try enabling and disabling the rule but this had no effect, only a reboot worked

What brand of mouse do you use? Do you use the software for it? I'm wondering if the scrolling has to do with mouse drivers/software.

Both my desktop and laptop i use Logitech mice. Desktop uses the Logitech gaming software/drivers. Laptop uses the Logitech setpoint software/drivers. I'm wondering now if the game isn't fully "taking over" the mouse "calls" causing the scrolling. Windows is still calling for the input control too.

A reboot would reset the drivers and could explain the issue disappearing after the reboot.

Thank you, I'll give this a try. I was somewhat on the correct path, but it's actually the keyboard "calls" it looks like.
