It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

On Win10... make sure That windows features, the Legacy components are on.

The two game executables: Battlegronunds.exe and the ....._x1.exe, located in the Folder named Game; make sure to set them on compatibility mode XP SP2 or 3

Check boxes: Reduce color mode 16-bit and Run in 640x480 screen resolution.

If crashing will still occur try different compatibility settings...

Maybe will work fine.

I will revisit this with further updates:
- On compat. mode XP SP2 seems to work well :)

I only had to set compatibility mode to XP SP3. Thanks for the heads up. The crashing was driving me batty.
Additionally, it looks like there's an "All in One" community patch:

Supports CD, GOG & Steam game versions
Extra languages: Italian, Russian & Chinese
Over two hours of random in-game music
New launcher for simple access to the content
Widescreen resolution support for both games
Fixes graphical glitch with distorted colors
Fixes crashes after around ~20 minutes of play
Fixes issue with stuck scrolling in gameplay
Various compatibility fixes and improvements
Haven't tested it because it's not compatible with the "Expanding Front" big mod i tested (and worked well on gog version), this mod comes with its own executable too and fixes mostly the same + add more content..

As said, it's not compatible with the "All in One" patch , so don't try to use both at the same time
