Just changed my grafix card from AMG to nVidiot GeForce GTX 960
end explorer, run in 256, run in compatibility XP - no good.
Updated and fresh install of latest drivers SURPRISE does nothing, still gets corruption.

Any ideas?

I have GTX 960 too with driver 445.87 WHQL and game looked like 16 bit color

This helped me to run it correctly:

1. Install Expanding Fronts patch
2. Run battlegrounds_x2.exe from game directory
3. Select "Configurator"
4. Tick "Window mode" box (game menu will be windowed, but game itself fullscreen, mine is 2560x1440)
5. Enjoy!

I have same problem. it not "rainbow colors" from Windows (that described on PCGW). It more pink (Win problem is blue+white colors) and happen in all directdraw games even after every tweaks (and that impossible from Windwos side, must be fixed after one tweak). it really problems in Nvidia drivers.
And worse is that for my 950m most of 4xx.xx drivers are lead to BSOD (and check NV forums for other ppl - same problems for very long time).

So better way is not download fixes for games - but fixing video driver by downgrade it to 39x.xx 9not remember correct digits). Unfortunately, there is no alternates and this drivers (same as old's 4xx) is very outdated and some function not present (like Gsync for high framerate displays).

Nvidia is worse than AMD, and long ago. In many ways worse.

Well, or DxWnd. But since this is driver fault - even DxWnd probably wont help or lead to other problems.
