Im running Windows 8.1 and I cannot seem to connect to my dad's multiplayer LAN game. I can see his game if I put in his IP address and then I try to join it, but to no avail. On the other hand, he can see my game in the LAN play search pane in the game but he can't connect to my games either. What else can I do here??

It did this to me recently on windows 7, I turned universal plug and play (UPnP) on my router off and it fixed it.
