The 6th track on Oovo IV has zero-G sections. Whenever I enter one, I can't steer at all, my racer just goes down the middle of the track. Unfortunately, this means I always hit the same rocks and obstacles, and eventually get stuck inside one. How do I steer?

By using A/D. (Same buttons that normally make the racer align vertically for narrow passages.)

Later on you hit another track there with two of those areas. Get used to it. :P

Like was said, you should be able to veer left and right but it's not exact and I still hit rocks all the time.

I messed with settings more and it seems to work better? It was very strange, but I feel like messing with the video settings did something. I really could not steer left/right before, now I can a little.

A little is the best you're going to do. You are supposed to have very limited movement in those areas. Like I said, I've played the game countless hours, winning every track with every pod, and I still run into shit on those parts.

My best suggestion is make sure you build up a good lead so you can afford the occasional collision without being passed.
This is a known bug in the game, depending on the framerate (I believe the game is designed for 25 or 30 FPS).

There's actually even more bugs (some of which are of technical nature, so users don't typically notice them).

The problem I have is on Vengeance there are several rocks that I cannot avoid and always crash into. Then when I re-spawn it puts me IN the rock where I can't move at all. This is the only Oovo IV track I have this issue with. The other ones don't have this issue.

EDIT: FIXED by limiting frame-rate to 29.5. Other settings may work but this is what I used.
