First off, thanks for whoever figured out how to fix the frozen initial loading screen.

In game menus, whatever the cursor highlights flickers rapidly and makes the initial 'highlight click' sound multiple times in quick succession. Navigating through menus with a controller feels like a crapshoot.

In the actual gameplay, controller, er, controls seem to work fine, at least.

Is this just the way the game is, or is there something I can do to smooth things out?
