I'm not the only one who's noticed this on the Steam version. Is the GOG version suffering from the same problem?

Where the planets are flashing white/red like crazy?

Did you rule out the possibility of graphics card drivers acting up?

Absolutely, since i have the latest ones and i've also re-installed them.

Also many others are complaining of the same issue. Search google for Flickering or Flashing Planets.

Many say that it was Steams last update that did this on the 10th Dec, so it's no co-incidence.

Thats why I'm asking if the GOG version suffers from this too.

Actually, newer graphics card drivers tend to have issues with older games more than newer ones, from what I've noticed. Notoriously, Petroglyph Games didn't mirror the update that brought Steamworks multiplayer to GOG.

A good and a bad thing.
