I have a Windows 8 computer on which EAW gold is installed.
On my desktop I can see both FOC and normal EAW.

So, today I wanted to play a Multiplayer Campaign with a freind who uses another (mac) computer in our network.
We both started up EAW went to LAN, and couldn´t see each other in the lobby. Sometimes, his player name appears two times in his own list.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Is he physically in your network or VPNed?

Ages ago, my bro and I could VPN. But now he has to come over to play. I don't know why.

Well, both are in the same network, but only one of them is connected with a cable. The mac version only has LAN as a multiplayer option.

I know there are lobby patches, but I'm not caught up on those things. Hopefully someone else will be able to help you out.

Be sure to send something to support, too.

The problem was known in the retail release (ram problem for those with more than 2GB) and was corrected by LucasArts EAW_RAM_MPLobby_update.exe.Se appointed by the last patch is already included in the steam version, but release may not gog.You applying the official patch as it puts the message it does not detect the game but settles like gog automatically in the game.

Main reason for thispatch was, as the name suggest MPlobby problems ;)

And I can confirm it is not in the GOG-release....

And does it wrk with it?
