I realize it's not out yet, but you promised 100% day one compatibility and 'day one' is..... tomorrow.

Simply the problem is that the provided winmm.dll breaks the game, it will not start and will simply consume CPU cycles in some sort of stuck mode. Deleting it makes the game usable- without music.

E: Works now, I guess they really 11th houred this but hey cool, I'm happy.

welp it's the 29th still broken.

I'm not saying this in itself is horrible, but come on guys you specifically promised 100% day one compatibility. Don't make promises you can't keep.

Welp, both Dark Forces are listed as Win 10 compatible.
A) GOG messed up and it's not actually compatible.
B) There's an issue with your particular setup (more likely option).

Either way send in a support ticket.

See my edit, they fixed it at the 11th hour (or the 13th in some countries)

How did you get it to work? It still doesn't for me unless I delete the .dll file.

Works fine for me, I downloaded it yesterday fresh to see if there was an update and it's working fine.
Yes they did fix it for Windows 10. If you had installed it in Windows 8 then you need to uninstlal and re-download. That's what worked for me. I download and installed in Windows 8 and was playing it perfectly. Then when I upgraded to Windows 10 it stopped working. All I had to do was uninstall, redownload, and it's working perfectly once again!

I m surprised they didn't just release a patch that replaced the winmm.dll since thats the only file that changed
If you want just the fixed dll, it's uploaded here

Jedi knight 2 worked fine for me until about level 10. Now it crashes after saves or cutscenes. sometimes it just crashes and I have to reboot, other times it shows the error about needing 256 colors. Nothing I change in compatibilty helps. If I re-download, it will work for a level then start the same issues. Do I need to get rid of all my save games? I hate to start over again.
