Hi! I'm having a problem with the game in level 10, there's one elevator that makes me fall through the floor and getting killed By it every single time! So I'm stuck.

Any ideas what's wrong?

there's an officer under the elevator when it goes down and for some reason the officer slows down the elevator but the elevator doesn't slow me down...

I had the same problem.

It's not an ideal solution, but I simply started jumping as the elevator was going down.

It crushed the guard below, but I reached the lower level safely, and could carry on playing normally.

Yeah, been trying that jumping also, no luck so far...

Maybe with Force Jump....? Well, I'll just keep trying.

I seem to recall this in the OG game too.
Just use eriamjh to turn on fly mode and float down.

I just played levels 9 through 12 and I never had an issue with this level. Don't remember having an issue back when I played it on my retail copy on my old PC either. Where exactly did this occur? Is it an optional area or do you have to pass through it? Could I have just missed it completely?

This is a well known issue. As someone said, "if you jump the elevator will crush the guard". That guard is the problem, as the elevator tries to kill him it will make you go down, killing you too. If you make the elevator go down but you're not on it, it will only crush the guard. After that, you'll be able to ride the elevator safely.

My problem in level 10 is that the door inside the reactor (after going through the massive air vent corridors) to get to the control room.... is locked! I can't get any further in the level!
