I just downloaded Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2. Every launch it just says JK.EXE has stopped working before it opens. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling/redownloading. Nothing works.

I am also having the same issue with Mysteries of the Sith. Black screen with a loading circle then a windows message that says jkm.exe has stopped working.

I'm running windows 10.

Thanks guys.

I myself also problems with this game under Windows 10,64 bits, instability, crashes during backups, bug of 256 colors at the launch, etc.

And I found a patch that corrects these issues:

"Pre-Patched Jedi Knight Unofficial Patch"

You have to go on this site: http://jkdf2.com/files-directory page and click on the link on the right:
"Pre-Patched Jedi Knight Unofficial Patch"

Or use this direct link:
http://jkdf2.com/files/jkunofficialpatch-2008-01-16-prepatched.zip

Paste the two files in the directory of the game and overwrite, the game should start.

Hope it help.
