Hi I purchased from GOG Battlefront 2 a short while ago. Had some problems with game crashing in multiplayer LAN.

I did the following which fixed it in the end:

(1) go into control panel
(2) Hardware and sound
(3) Sound
(4) tab called Recording
(5) right click open space and select show disabled devices
(6) enable Stereo Mix

This was for Windows 7 and 8
