So, as the title says, i'm getting around 20-30 FPS whenever i activate shadows, i'm pretty sure my PC is capable enough to run a 2004 game, 8th gen i7, 1050 and i'm able to run the new 2017 battlefront at high 60 fps no problem, any ideas :/

set lower resolution than you set currently. And better 4:3

If you experience stuttering performance (low fps), try assigning the game's executable to just one CPU core. This can easily be done as follows:

1) Right-click on the game's shortcut and select "Properties".
2) Copy and paste the following in the Target field:

C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /C start "" /affinity 1 "C:\GOG Games\Star Wars - Battlefront\GameData\battlefront.exe"

You can pick which core to associate the game with, it doesn't necessarily have to be /affinity 1 as shown above.
