How to use tow cable in snowspeeder on Hoth? It seems it is not weapon.

you have to be gunner in snowspeeder, wait until pilot is onboard, than onboard yourself and switch to gun position by pressing F - primary weapon change

You must shoot at the legs of the AT-AT, it's a wire actually to "tie" the legs and shoot it down, if you saw in the movies you must do it the same way in this game.
