In the modded versions, you can hear you rofficers informing you about shields, transporters, enemy status etc. Why not in the regular download? The guy who compilled this for GOG surelly did a liazy and poor job.

You said it yourself - in MODDED versions, NOT OFFICIAL versions.

The only official SFC games that had that were SFC2 and Orion Pirates. It's not GOG's laziness, it's you not understanding mods don't belong in official distributions.
And how do you explain that the GOG VERSION has a zip with allmost 200 mb with voice lines? If they are there form theregular download why not make them hearable? Its not me understanding mods, its you not having a fucking clue of ehat you download

Again wrong dude, clearly you don't even bother to check what people tells you. 200 mb of voicelines is waaaaaay too much for the amount of voiceover there. Have you tried to play some of them? I bet you haven't at all.

And BTW i found out how to activate them proving the voicelines were not exclussive to the modded version.

The guy that compiled the game for the gog version, for some reason decided to deactive voices for the interface. Got to the sfc.ini file and search for the Voice line; it has a value of 0 when it should have a value of 3. Put that number and be amazed of how wrong you were.
