I just bought Starfleet Command III yesterday, and I admit it was kind of a gamble after reading a lot about techical difficulties and the fact that I should have flipped a coin to determine if it'll run smoothly on my machine.

After starting up the game I see all of the intro cinematics and everything seems fine. As soon as the game enters main menu, however, I just see a small 'snippet' of the picture supposed to be rendered.

Is there some kind of fool-proof method to get the game running as intended? Are there plans by GoG to release a patch or any further technical support in the future? I really loved this game, and I lost my original DVD. Would hate to refund the game.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

step 1 = set your system to allow dirrect play
step 2 = ajust the game rendor settings with the app in tools
[see images]

I would start by turning down the screen rez i.e, 1024X768 and test that your Gpu can handle the load before trying other options

You can also try downloading the SFC3 Configuration Setup for Windows 10 V 2.0 and see if it fixes your issues. You can find the download over at Mod DB. Just copy and past the file name in the search box at Mod DB, not able to post links, otherwise I would. Sorry.
Just apply the recently released RDNA fix or redownload with it. Fixes the Problem for me (5800X + 6900XT).
