Does this game have Multiplayer over LAN?

Just want to know if I could buy this for my next LAN-Party ^^

Indeed it it possible to play it over LAN. Our tests showed there should be no problem when all computers are connected to the same network device.

GOG helpfully included an IPX emulator, so when starting or joining a multiplayer game on your LAN, select IPX mode.

Wait so the original release didn't have network play LAN built in?

I'm more interested in multiplayer via IPX emulation over GOG Galaxy.
