I thought gog did more than just rerelease games. They are supposed to make them playable on modern hardware. The physics in the game are broken as expected of a 2003 game. Set your refresh rate to 60.

Honestly if I'm expected to fix all this shit myself what am I paying you for?
There are limits to what they can do.
Software is complex, this software is old and was not designed for new computers.
Issues that are only briefly known and run deep can't be fixed like that, unless the game would be in active development.

You can not expect GOG to hire a specialized Programmer to just fix a old game that has comparably low number of sales compared to modern AAA games. I also don't know if they have even access to the source code if that is a engine issue.

I think your expectation is to high. However you can refund for some length of time, if you really are so dissatisfied just refund the game, that is the best GOG can do if you want a instant solution on such a short notice.

Btw, you can use 70 or even 75, so it is not strictly 60.
And it is only a single map or maybe two (m3l1a-forever and m6-exterior) out of almost 70.

They don't port them, they do some technical work to ensure they run on their test machines.

If you don't mind doing the technical work yourself and don't have a problem with piracy, you don't have to buy GOG editions.
