i played this bk in the day i just want to mess around see if it will even run stable on my system wanted to cheat in some dilithium but none of the old cheat codes seem to work.

is it a known issue?

Most cheats for both A1 and A2 are actually fake, if you can believe it. They were either from an entirely different game or were nulled by the developers by the time the games shipped.

The ones that do work in both are only kobayashimaru (beat mission) and showmethemoney (+2000 Dilithium).

That said, if the real ones don't work for you, make sure you press Enter before and after typing them, as if you were typing a multiplayer chat message, or they won't do anything.

I have the same issue. I just want to cheat dilithium. If I understand you correctly we should still be able to do that. I am pressing Enter, then typing "showmethemoney", then enter. Exactly how I used to 20 years ago. But it does nothing. What is the deal?

The dilithium code works for me just fine in both Armada I and II, as are the other codes like instant win with kobayashimaru. The issue I'm having is that an edit I made to change incoming damage in the RTS_cfg file isn't working in II. Not sure why not.

Unless...my game is set to Medium difficulty by default, that might be it if the values are tagged as easy and hard.

EDIT: Yep, that was it.

Hey not to necro but I'm having this issue with A1, I've increased the starting crew and dil in the config file but when I start a single player campaign mission I get the default values, any idea how to fix it?
