Hi I'm here talking on behalf of myself n Justo, AKA Tiger n Jokarr and the wider community.

We have been playing Armada 2 since release all those years ago and have become old pen pals and have nostalgic conversations about how good it would be if the community grew.

If your an older player you may well be aware of the small community that is still going in the form of fleet operations, which was a complete overhaul MOD based on the A2 engine. Along with loads of other solo and group efforts, there are many mods and flavours to play.

For people that might be playing this game for the first time or older players that thought it was lost , we do have a home and we plan on brining you content and hopefully help bring everyone together to improve this fantastic community.

keep your eyes peeled on this thread as we aim to support the rerelease of this game.

thanks for that i joined last night. do you get many games organised on it?

We tried to a couple of times when it was still new, managed to get a few matches in A2, but we were too small at the time to do more.

Fleet Ops is such a lovely mod. Was it ever fixed to work with the game's campaign mode?

"Fixed"? It's a total conversion, it replaced pretty much all objects so the original campaigns were entirely unusable.

...I'm well aware that it broke the campaign. Hence my question. I'll take that as a(n unnecessarily condescending) "no."
