As the name suggests, this is my first time modding Star Trek Armada. I want to be able to add this and other mods in the future. The instructions are quite clear: "Make it buildable by a shipyard. Open a shipyard object definition file (odf) (e.g., fyard2.odf) and insert a new builditem under the construction parameters:

// Construction Parameters
buildItemX = "fprom"

where X represents the next number in the sequence. Save the file into the Armada Addon Directory and exit." Trouble is that I can't seem to find this file. I looked for the file in the section they recommended and it's no where to be found. Would someone please fill in the missing gaps for me? Did I miss something?

Is this for Armada 1 or 2 but I believe you are looking for the ODF files? They do not come with the vanilla version(cd or through GOG) and they have to be downloaded separately and added to the "add on" folder. The ODF's can be edited using a program like notepad++++.

My example of using the technique you are trying was to use these ODF files to add the Avenger as a build-able ship in the federation starbase.

Armada fleet command may have them but I am sure the website you referenced has them in their Armada 1 download section. If this helps I wish you good luck.
