No steam acct and it looks like the mods i want are on steam workshop, but without Steam you cannot download them so where or how can we Download mods without steam?

I would like the Human faction/Race mod. I guess all it does is change the picture but still its what I want as i am not a lizard...

Modb .com has most of the star ruler 2 mods, or at least links to them on there.

itchy01ca01: Modb .com has most of the star ruler 2 mods, or at least links to them on there.
Not that Star Ruler has many mods, but the more used aren't on Moddb or are outdated. Is there anyway to get the UI mod and the portrit mod working onm the new GOG version (2.0.1)?
