Hello, my name is Kamil, im live in Poland and today i wanna give you answer about why mods created by community not working on latest version.

As you know, most mods is created for 1.0.0.6 version of game, but last year in December 2024, GOG update the game, and that why mods not working for latest version its not 1.0.0.6 version. Latest version of legacy Stalker SOC is pre1.0007/1.0006-9c0291b. That why all mods you wanna use its not working and you have always crash to desktop after run the game with mods.

Correct build for 1.0.0.6 version of game is: 2.1.0.9 for Polish version of game. 2.1.0.7 for English, Russian, German, French, Spanish, Italian version of game.

Now this versions is not able to download by Gog Galaxy app, if you wanna download correct version, just must rollback via gog galaxy app, or just find in internet correct version of game (not recommended, semi-risky sites).

If somebody want, i write today to gog support about that topic, but i not swear its the answer be possitive for us.
